Within the framework of the working program, on October 28, 2025, Comrade Nguyen Chien Thang - Director of the Vietnam Register had a working session with a number of member units of the Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (SBIC) in the Quang Ninh and Hai Phong areas to remove difficulties for businesses in the process of implementing Resolution 220 of the Government as well as assessing human resource needs, grasping the situation of production and business activities, inspection work, ensuring technical safety and development orientation of the shipbuilding industry in the new period.

Attending the meeting were representatives of departments of the Registry, functional departments of the Ministry of Construction, and comrades Pham Hoai Chung - Chairman of the Board of Members, Nguyen Tien Dat - Deputy General Director and representatives of functional departments of the Corporation, and leaders of member units such as: Ha Long Shipbuilding LLC, Pha Rung Shipbuilding LLC, Song Cam Shipbuilding JSC... At the meeting, leaders of the units reported on the production situation, ongoing ship projects, progress of ship building - repair, as well as difficulties and problems in the process of implementing technical standards and procedures related to registration work. The units also proposed a number of recommendations to create more favorable conditions for enterprises in applying international standards, innovating technology, improving product quality and competitiveness of the Vietnamese shipbuilding industry.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang - Director of the Vietnam Register highly appreciated the efforts of the Corporation and its member units in maintaining production activities, proactively seeking orders, ensuring product quality, technical safety and strictly complying with regulations on registration. He affirmed that the Vietnam Register will continue to accompany and support shipbuilding enterprises in professional work, guide the implementation of new technical standards, and listen to and remove difficulties and shortcomings from production practices.

Đồng chí Phạm Hoài Chung – Chủ tịch Hội đồng thành viên Tổng công ty đã chia sẻ: đây là dịp rất ý nghĩa để chúng ta trao đổi, chia sẻ thông tin, tháo gỡ khó khăn, cùng hướng tới mục tiêu chung là phát triển ngành công nghiệp đóng tàu Việt Nam một cách an toàn, bền vững và hiện đại hơn. Trong những năm qua, Tổng công ty Công nghiệp tàu thủy và các đơn vị thành viên luôn nhận được sự quan tâm, đồng hành chặt chẽ của Cục Đăng kiểm Việt Nam trong công tác quản lý kỹ thuật, kiểm tra, giám sát chất lượng tàu, cũng như hướng dẫn thực hiện các tiêu chuẩn, quy chuẩn mới. Nhờ đó, các sản phẩm tàu biển của chúng ta ngày càng được nâng cao về chất lượng, đáp ứng yêu cầu khắt khe của chủ tàu trong nước và quốc tế. Tuy nhiên, bên cạnh những kết quả tích cực, ngành đóng tàu hiện vẫn đối mặt với nhiều khó khăn về nguồn vốn, đơn hàng, nhân lực chất lượng cao và quá trình chuyển đổi công nghệ. Đặc biệt, trong bối cảnh tiêu chuẩn quốc tế về an toàn, môi trường ngày càng cao, các doanh nghiệp rất cần sự hướng dẫn, hỗ trợ và chia sẻ thông tin kịp thời từ Cục Đăng kiểm Việt Nam để chủ động thích ứng, đảm bảo tiến độ và chất lượng sản phẩm. Tổng công ty Công nghiệp tàu thủy xác định: công tác đăng kiểm không chỉ là yêu cầu bắt buộc mà còn là yếu tố cốt lõi để khẳng định uy tín và thương hiệu của sản phẩm tàu Việt Nam. Do đó, chúng tôi mong muốn tiếp tục nhận được sự hợp tác chặt chẽ, trao đổi thường xuyên hơn với Cục Đăng kiểm Việt Nam trong việc: Rà soát, thống nhất áp dụng các tiêu chuẩn kỹ thuật phù hợp thực tiễn; Tăng cường đào tạo, tập huấn về quy chuẩn và an toàn kỹ thuật cho cán bộ kỹ thuật tại các nhà máy; Phối hợp thúc đẩy chuyển đổi số, ứng dụng công nghệ mới trong quy trình kiểm định, quản lý chất lượng tàu. Thay mặt lãnh đạo Tổng công ty, tôi xin cam kết SBIC sẽ tiếp tục chỉ đạo các đơn vị thành viên tuân thủ nghiêm túc các quy định về đăng kiểm, đảm bảo chất lượng sản phẩm, an toàn kỹ thuật và hiệu quả sản xuất – kinh doanh góp phần phát triển ngành công nghiệp đóng tàu Việt Nam ngày càng vững mạnh, hội nhập quốc tế sâu rộng.

The meeting took place in an open, frank and constructive atmosphere, demonstrating the spirit of effective coordination between state management agencies and enterprises in promoting the development of the shipbuilding industry - an important field in Vietnam's maritime strategy.
